Photographer Overview

I am a graduate of Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Business Administration and a self-taught professional photographer.  I am based in Whitsett, North Carolina and specialize in maternity, newborn, children, and family photography.   For as long as I can remember I’ve absolutely loved photography!  I remember my first Polaroid camera, then my first pink 110mm, and the list goes on.  It wasn’t until the birth of my first child that I really started to explore this passion that I’ve had for years.  I started my business in July of 2008.  Now, I feel truly blessed to do what I love each and every day.
My goal as your photographer is to capture the essence of life’s little moments.   I love capturing the moments that make your family unique and special.  I love capturing the beauty and innocence of new life. I love capturing personalities, as they really are, whether silly, sassy or just plain ornery.  I hope you will allow me to share in your moments and give you something you will have for all of time—the moments you will want to remember for years to come.
When I’m not capturing memories I enjoy spending time being “Mommy” to two terrific children who light up my world.  I also enjoy gardening, scrapbooking, relaxing at the beach and spending time with family and friends.  And quite often you’ll find me with my camera in hand while I’m doing these activities too.
