Hello and welcome,

I’m Tamara, a Calgary newborn photographer with nearly a decade of experience photographing babies and their families. Since 2016, I’ve specialized in creating timeless newborn portraits in my private Calgary studio, designed to be a calm and comfortable space where parents can relax while their little one is gently and safely photographed.

My work is known for its soft, light-filled newborn imagery paired with elegant simplicity, allowing each baby’s natural beauty and personality to shine. Every session is carefully guided so families can enjoy the experience while I focus on creating meaningful, heirloom-quality portraits.

Over the years, my work has received international recognition, including multiple Bronze awards from the RISE International Photography Awards and honours from the International Baby Photo Awards. These acknowledgements continue to inspire my commitment to thoughtful, artistic newborn photography.

In addition to my photography work, I also support Calgary families as a birth and postpartum doula. This experience has deepened my understanding of newborn care and the early days of parenthood, allowing me to bring an even greater level of patience, calm, and confidence into every newborn session.

The first days of a baby’s life pass quickly, and it’s truly an honour to help families preserve those early memories with care, artistry, and a gentle approach.
