Hi There! I'm Jennifer. I am a newborn and expecting family photographer located in southeaster Wisconsin, in a cozy suburb north of Milwaukee. When I started my photography business, I knew I wanted to specialize in expecting moms (and dads too!), newborns and babies. I am in such incredible awe of the miracle of life, I knew deep down I would be forever happy capturing new life ~ whether photographing you while expecting, capturing your newborn in the hospital while your other little ones meet their new brother or sister for the first time, or capturing you and your newborn at home or in my studio. Knowing I can capture these special times for your family makes my heart sing.
~My style is simple, organic and light. I do keep props to a minimum, as I do not want to distract from the beauty and of the subject~you, your newborn and your family.
~I do strive to make the sessions as easy as possible for expecting families. For maternity sessions, I have a growing selection of apparel to select from. For newborns, I provide all items necessary for a session.
~I also love to photograph families during this special time and love to capture the entire immediate family at both maternity and newborn sessions.
~I have a passion for the printed product, whether it be gorgeous fine art prints, handcrafted wooden keepsake boxes, or an heirloom album. Images are meant to be printed an viewed. Prints do matter.
Other random facts about me:
~I am a mother to four amazing children. Three girls and one boy. Each and every one of them had my heart from the moment I discovered I was expecting.
~I am also a sister to four siblings, a wife and daughter. My father passed away suddenly and I miss him every single day.
~I love to knit. It's incredibly relaxing and I am amazed at the beautiful items that can be made from essentially a ball of string and two sticks.
~I love to be crafty, but rarely have enough time for it. It will be bittersweet when they comes when I have time to scrapbook, sew and knit, since it will mean my children have grown up.
~Personally, I love to take pictures with my growing collection of film cameras - there is a specialness about taking pictures with film that is hard to describe.
~I have deep gratitude for the those who have served in the military. I thank God every day for their service, dedication and sacrifice.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I am so happy that you are interested in working with me, and I look forward to hearing from you.
